Portraits of Sound consists of seven individual moving portraits.

The films invite the viewer to consider mortality, re-birth and meditate on the nature of our co-existence with nature.

Each film is a moving portrait of a Shanghai music producer or band shot in a single take.

Each artists’ portrait is accompanied by their respective music.
